There hasn't been a lot of sex in Oasis thus far, but it isn't because I don't believe in it or other such nonsense. I think sex is beautiful and natural. I do not see it as pervy, ugly or wrong. My characters and their universe see sex as an intimate language of love, and when two people are attracted to each other, there is no reason not to become sexual, just as there is no reason to do it. It is up to them. Xan has been having issues with having a lover he wishes to spend his life with, and being attracted viscerally to others, namely Marco. Jeri is gradually teaching him that this is ok, and while one person can not be all things to another, it is good to have outside friends. If the relationship goes physical, that is ok. Honesty and trust along with being respectful to the other long term partner is expected. Communication allows the lovers to deal with change. And everything changes. The wisdom of Aeros is simple. Love knows no bounds, is open and honest. We are all one large related people no matter what we look like or the languages we speak, so love is universal.
I have thought this through carefully and whether or not to show explicit sex acts. I have decided to go with the latter because to me, they are the ultimate physical expression of intimacy and love, whether between long term/life partners or friends.
I will warn any who may find this unpleasant or against their own view as best I can. I may set up a different site for XXX rated pages. I do not want to offend anyone, but I find it sad that oral sex, coitus, anal sex or any expression of physical pleasure should be upsetting. I do respect the other views. So be warned. I will have explicit scenes soon, all story driven, and while generally considered vanilla, they may offend some. I , however, get nothing but the deepest satisfaction from them. Not physical on my part but as a expression of romantic love.
